Scanning legal-size paper HP Deskjet 2130

I am trying to scan a legal contract on an HP Deskjet 2130. The HP Easy Scan tool does not provide an option to load the paper to be scanned fom the feeder. It assumes the document to be scanned would be on the flatbed which is too small for legal-size paper.

Is it possible to load the document to be scanned from the feeder at the back of the printer?

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are unable to scan from ADF on HP DeskJet 2130  printer. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

This printer does not have ADF it.

Click here and check the printer specifications.

Meanwhile:

I see that you are trying to scan using HP Easy Scan app.

Follow the below steps:

1. search the Mac for scan, then click HP Easy Scan in the list of results.

2. Place the document or photo printed side down on the scanner glass, then close the scanner lid.

   If your printer has an automatic document feeder (ADF), you can use it to scan multiple page documents at one time. Do not load photos in the ADF to prevent damage to the photos and the printer.

3. In HP Easy Scan, select your printer name from the Scanner drop down menu.

4. Select your scan type from the Presets menu.

   To change any basic settings to the preset you selected, click Edit Settings.

5. Click Scan.

6. Click Scan Next Item to add additional pages, or click Done.

7. Click the thumbnail version of the scanned item in the left panel. The item displays in the right preview pane.

8. Click Edit to adjust colors, straighten the scan, or crop the size.

9. To save your scans to a folder on the Mac, click Send in the bottom right corner of the window, then click Folder.

10. In the window that displays, click the Where menu to browse to the folder you want to save the file to, then click Save.

11. To view your scan, open the folder in which you saved the scan, then double-click the file.
