HP Lasterjet MFW 140w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Why has HP taken this decision to force people to log in to scan? This raises serious security concerns for anyone needing to scan confidential or commercially sensitive documents. My LaserJet will not even be recognised by any other software rendering it a 6kg doorstop.

This was done. None of the other scanning software I use recognise it as a scanner

Nope I have done all of this. I am not going to carry on fighting with a badly designed and intrusive "service"
