Hello All,
I am setting up a new Dell Inspiron 5000 running Windows 7 SP1, and wanted to add a photosmart D110 to it.
I downloaded the full software package from HP, but after the installation starts, I get a message that I don't have USB hardware available on my computer. It's probably a detection issue since I am using two of the three USB ports w/o problems.
Now, the printer is to be used on the network, so the fact the installer did not detect USB hardware should not interfere with the install.
I'm stuck and would like to know what my options are, if any. Is there a way to force the installer to not look for USB hardware, or to ignore the error if not found?
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks
