there is a green light on the bottom of the tower  I think it works with the drive  can it be turned off?

and yes all can be defeated one own way are another,  is this PC in bed room at night?

even using black tape to do so.

ok I see the Green tall triangle of lED light there.

one can find that , inside there is plug that lED that can be remove or one of its 2 wires cut (out of warranty)

or remove front and back tape the LED actual.

also look in BIOS for disable LED fancy stuff if there.

NO warranty answers by me.
