Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good Afternoon,

So the issues I'm currently facing is as follows:

I have an editor working in an edit suite who is sharing his screen (sender) via Z Central to an Edit Producer who is working from home (receiver).

The editor is working on Avid using a Mojo DX box to output the Audio and Video signal to speakers and a client monitor respectively.

Because the audio signal is being sent to the Mojo from Avid, the edit producer is unable to hear any audio from their laptop at home.

Is there a way to split the audio signal so it comes out of the PC as well as the Mojo?

Look forward to hearing back.

All the best,

George

Update for you.  This is from Avid.

PCoIP (at this time) can only send a single stereo mix of audio anyway.  So when the local user is sharing their screen with the producer it would probably be better for them to disable the DX hardware and monitor the computer’s stereo out (with headphones or line out to speakers) so they know that that they are hearing the same thing as the producer.  The user would still want to pay attention to their usual audio mix settings to make sure they are listening to a stereo mix of the tracks they want – it might be a mix of all the audio tracks or just certain tracks.  The producer may even request to hear just certain audio tracks.

Then of course when they are not in a PCoIP session they can enable the DX hardware and work normally.

See attached from Avid.
