We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

When I open HP Smart and i can my printer works perfectly. However when I try to send a scan from the printer to my computer it tells me to install HP Smart.

 

Can you help me fix this please? I tried HP doctor but still same error.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the  "cannot scan from printer" issue. 

 

You would need the full-featured drivers installed on your computer to scan from the printer to the computer-

 

You can install the drivers from the Software and Drivers Page

 

and follow the steps to enable scan to computer-

  1. Click on the printer Icon (on your desktop) and it will bring up the HP Printer Assistant.
  2. Under the Scan menu, there is a “Manage Scan to Computer”, click on that.
  3. Make sure that you “Enable” Scan to Computer.
