I have Windows 7 but when I try to access the Print and Scan Doctor I get the message "Print and Scan Doctor does not support Windows XP." I do NOT have Windows XP, I have NEVER had Windows XP. How can I access the Print and Scan Doctor without getting that message?

Hi,
Thanks for the clarification. We provided the link because we thought you were using some other link.
What is the issue you are facing? Have you tried to Uninstall and Reinstall to try and fix your issue?
Please Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software following these steps:
1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)
The following resource will help you :
http://123.hp.com/us/en/
Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
If you are not sure how to do this, the following resource will walk you through the steps:

Thanks for using the HP Forums. Can you try the following:
Please Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR) tool to diagnose and fix your problem

As I indicated in my previous post, I cannot run the Print and Scan Doctor because somehow when I attempt to run it I get the message "XP is not supported" although I do NOT have XP and have NEVER had XP. I have Windows 7 which I have always had ever since I had my computer. Print and Scan Doctor will not even load on my computer when I attempt to access it.

I am still getting the same message about Windows XP which I NEVER had. I followed all instructions and still get that message. I will just have to have someone come in to look at my computer to see WHY this is happening.
