HP Pavillion 22xi
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello so i am using my monitor for 1 year.

This never happened until 9-10 months later when i played computer for like 10 h.

So my monitor turns itself off after 1-3 min.

To turn it on i need to only press the button.

But its very annoying.

I tried switching cables from VGA to DVI but i didnt make any difference.

My mom extended warranty for 3 years we are thinking to exchange my i don't know maby broken monitor one to new one.

If needed.

Hi there @RokutisGaming,

I hope you find your Support Forum experience a positive one!  It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel.  I understand that your display is switching itself off after 1 -3 minutes.  I am happy to help with this.

Have you tried to connect this display to a different computer and test it with that system? If yes, were you seeing the same issue?

Did you try a different display cable of the same type?

Also have you tested using a different video port on the display?

Please let me know the results.
