Product: HP Deskjet 2135 Ink Advantage
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, i was wondering if my printer "HP Deskjet 2135 Ink Advantage" which using "HP 680" ink cartridges" are using pigmented ink or dye-based ink. Printer bought in Malaysia. So they are using "HP 680 ink cartridges".  Please explain. Im learning from you, HP Expert. Teach me more.

The document here indicates the HP 680 black cartridge uses dye based ink.  Most HP consumer printers use pigmented black for best quality text and dye based color for best photos. It appears the HP 680 black cartridge uses dye based ink for lower cost.

 

The document here confirms the HP 680 tri-color cartridge is also dye-based.
