Officejet Pro 8210
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I can't print checks from Quicken 2017 with my new HP Officejet Pro 8210.  Other reports from Quicken print just fine.  Had no problem with my old Office jet 6100.   Also have no problems when printing Word and Excel documents.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello, @bupham – Greetings!

Allow me to welcome you to the HP Forums! I would be glad to be of your assistance 🙂

I see that you are having issues while printing checks from Quicken software. Going through your post, it seems that the issue is with the software. I did some digging in their website and have few suggestions for you:

First, update the Quicken:

  1. Select the Tools > One Step Update.
  2. Click Update Now.
  3. If an update is available, Quicken displays a window that describes what's in the update, as well as brief instructions for downloading the update.

Now, if unable to print from the updated version, or if you do not have an update then try repairing the same:

  1. Choose File menu > File Operations > Validate and Repair.
  2. Check the options to Validate File and Reset all Quicken printer settings.
  3. Click OK.
  4. See if you can print.

If you still face any issues while printing the check from the quicken, then follow the steps mentioned in their website:

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Good luck 🙂

Unfortunately i found this after I solved the problem, but this method worked on Quicken 2017 with an HP 8740 that was printing in grossly incorrect places on Quicken Standard check forms.

Thanks
