Have used this printer personally and professionally for years - many graphics.  Last month the reds fell out of the output.  70% of magenta toner left.  Replaced cartridge - no change.  Have twin grandchildren and pics with green babies are NOT acceptable!  Please help!

Hey @John0651,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.

I understand that you are having some issues with the print quality when printing from your Laserjet CM1415 Printer. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector. Once done, this document outlines how to troubleshoot print quality issues with your printer.

If after following the above you are still unable to print correctly, the printer needs to be replaced. You can contact HP Support by clicking on this link and filling out the form at the bottom to discuss options based on your warranty.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to print, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

Hi,

Thanks for your effort. I had worked through the support docs before logging my original request.  Since your reply, I have uninstalled the printer and re-installed with the original CD, to no avail.  I have also tinkered with color balance settings in Windows and in my photo editing app, with some improvement.

I believe my printer is doing about what it is told, and pictures embedded in docs will lack vivid reproduction.  I will have to research the color management arts to determine if this can be improved.

Thanks again.
