Thank you for the information, I greatly appreciated it. I ended up doing what I believe to be an NVRAM reset. In the interim of waiting for a response for help, I found a procedure that worked for my situation. I can not remember who posted it, but whoever you are, you have my gratitude and thanks. The procedure is as follows:
To reset the administrator password, power off the printer.
Simultaneously press the right arrow > button and the cancel X button (it’s red).
Keep these buttons depressed as you as you power on the printer.
When the Permanent Storage init. message appears on the display, release both buttons.
When the printer has finished the NVRAM initialization, the message Ready appears on the display.
Again, my utmost thanks to whoever originally posted this procedure.

You cannot reset the admin password from the webpage. You must before either a factory reset or an NVRAM reset to clear this password.
