I am trying to install an older OS which doesn't support AHCI. I get a blue screen of death. I can not access advanced settings in BIOS. So i can not change it that way. There is also no OS.

Hi:
I have zipped up and attached below, the XP 32 bit sata achi drivers you need to install for XP to install.
Then follow the guidance I attached for how to slipstream the drivers into a copy of your XP installation media.
This is written for Intel chipsets but the procedure is the same. You would just slipstream the drivers I attached instead.

Hi:
It is not possible to change the drive controller setting in the g6 model series.
What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?
The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.
Please do not post the serial number.
If you are trying to install WXP, then you can slipstream the sata achi drivers you need for XP to install.
No older OS than WXP will install.
