I'm upgrading my Aunt's HP 2000 Notebook.  I know it has an AMD processors, and I think it came with 2 GB Ram.  I just upgraded the HD to an SSD (and that did wonders).

I read in the online pdf manual that it came with 2 GB Ram.  I would like to know how much Ram I can add to it as is - I mean, does it currently have a free open slot for more ram, and how much ram could go in that slot.

Also, to get it to the maximum of 8GB ram, would I have to remove a ram module that's in there and start adding ram from that point?

Regards,

Michael
