Hello, recently i replaced the ram memory of my notebook. It had 256 MB and I put 2 GB.
My notebook really transformed so I decided to put another 2 GB memory card exactly the same as the first one.
My problem is that when i put each one of the cards the notebook operates, but it doesnt with both!!!
Does anyone can help please?

Hi:
Below is the link to the quickspecs for your notebook.
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/archives_Canada/12722_ca_v5/12722_ca.PDF
The notebook only supports a max of 2 GB of memory (see page 2).
If your notebook has a Celeron processor, then it has the Mobile Intel 940 GML chipset which only supports 2 GB of memory.

You're very welcome.
You actually would get a slightly better bit of performance out of your notebook by installing 2 x 1 GB of memory if you happen to have some lying around that have the same specs as required by your notebook.
That way it would run in DDR mode. Your 2 GB chip is only running in SDR mode.
