Thank you for joining the HP Forums!
I noticed your post that your HP Pavilion g6 2301ax is heating up too much, and I am happy to help!
This Notebook is designed for AMD processors only. You cannot replace it with an Intel. In the meantime, I would recommend to go through this guide, Reducing Heat Inside the Laptop to Prevent Overheating, and let me know what happens!
