I have read your post and understand that you need assistance in understanding the limit of a card reader on your PC. Is that, right?
The card reader of any PC doesn’t have any limits. So, you may use the maximum size of card available today. It should still read the data or detect the card.
This should solve the issue. Let me know for more solution.
