Hi There!

I have an HP laptop mentioned above, which has got it's base enclosure and the left hinge broken. It seems to be an widespread issue. It happened a few months ago while opening it as usual, and the screen seems to be working fine. Although, I can clearly see the ugly wide space along with the a portion of the hinge.

I know my product is out of warranty, but what should I do repair it? Is there any official repair center in the UK? I tried to find the specific product number for the hinge and the base, however, HP parts store says 'not available to order'.

Please help. I am in a rush too! Thanks in advance.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Support Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
