Hello
An issue that has been getting worse and worse for me has been that my PC shuts completely off after a short period of time, now around 1 hour. I used to have the same problem, however, it would shut off after 4-5 hours, and after it being fully shut down for a few hours it would return to normal. I read that dust accumulation can be an issue, although I cannot see any dust in the vents. Do you recommend opening the computer and dusting the fan itself inside the computer with compressed air? Or are there other potential issues that dusting will not fix?

You had asked if dust can be a factor. The answer is absolutely! I have seen it in the past where the whole reason for the complication was dust in the Notebook. I highly recommend keeping the Notebook dust free on a frequent basis.
