HP Envy M6 notebook

I purchased the Envy m6 notebook in 2014 for my daughter and it is now coming apart at the hinges from normal

wear & rear, she is afraid that if she continues to open & close it that it may fall apart but has to use it for school, Please advise if there is a recall on this product or how can I get it repaired.

Mine has done the same thing and eventually the screen (top) came right off from the bottom half.  Uh oh.

Good evening, after several years of use, our HPEnvy series 17 casing broke at the left hinge. I see chronic issues like this have been reported for years.  it is having the same case separation issue as all others.

How can I get my laptop repaired?

With regards,

Dave

HP must stand for Hinge Problem.
