Hey @Ilmarran,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums! The forums are a great place where you can find solutions for your issues, with help from the community!
I read your post and see that you have a Hard Drive short DST check failure with a code of: PTXQHK-791879-MFPV7G-60TB03.
Please make sure that all USB devices and external devices are disconnected from the Notebook.
Have you backed up any of your information? If not, here is a document for you on backing up your files. At this point, it would probably be in your best interest to make sure that everything is backed up, just as a precaution as this error is generally related to the hard drive.
Have you tried to start the Notebook in Safe Mode?
Have you done an extensive test on the Hard Drive?
Have you tried to Restore the BIOS?
Do you have recovery media?
Here is a document called Hard Drive Failure Errors. Some of the steps in this document may help you solve the DST check issue.
You can check whether an update is available for your hard drive by going to the Get software and drivers page.
Did this reply resolve your issue or answer your question? If yes, then please share the good news! Let others know this reply was helpful by clicking the Accept as Solution button. You can also show your appreciation by clicking the Thumbs Up.

Have a fantastic day!
