HP Pavilion 15-P147ne
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I currently have http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04512573

It is a15.6" diagonal HD BrightView WLED-backlit (1366 x 768) display. I just want to know whether I can upgrade the display to a 1920 x 1080 Full HD panel? If so, where can  I find the replacement parts? How to do it?

Please respond. Thanks in advance

Yes it can be done with enough funds. You would need to replace your screen with this one:

15.6 WLED AG full HD SVA available for Windows 8.1 (includes screws) 764623-001

And you need a different screen cable as your HD cable will not drive a full HD display:

Display panel full HD cable for non-Touchscreen models (includes webcamera/ microphone module cable and screws) for HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC computer models 762544-001

Screen on eBay:

Cable:

HP Parts Store does have it and although expensive it might be cheaper than the eBay sale after international shipping:

Also see p. 80 of the Manual:

You will have to open it and replace the screen cable in addition to the screen itself.
