my laptop hp compaq 6710b light does not enter the broad but it's enter the adaptor, what should i do?

Hi,


Do a hard reset: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01684768

Try removing battery and connect AC adapter power alone and power on again, check.

I'm suspecting a motherboard failure (expensive affair, worst case scenario), or DC power connector issue (cheaper problem)
