I am unable to access the blue characters on the keyboard, despite trying to hold control, shift and right shift at the same time. Could somebody please tell me how to do this? Thanks

Thanks for becoming a member of the HP Support Forums. I understand you are having an issue with the blue keys, function keys. I will be glad to help you.
Please look at page 32 of the Notebook PC User Guide. This will explain how to use the function key.
If still having issue please read Some Function Keys or Keyboard Shortcuts Do Not Work Correctly with Windows 7.
Please keep me informed of how things went.
