Does HP Active Pen compatible with HP Pavilion X360 Convertible 13-U130TU i5 7th Gen 13.3" Touch Laptop?

If not, could you suggest other touch pen?

Hi @shchoyan,

Thanks for replying.

I did look for that information on this support website and found that Active pen is not listed on the compatibility list for your model. This clearly indicates that it won't work on your PC.

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to assist you.

Hi @shchoyan,

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! This is a great location to get resolutions and interact with experts from the community. I came across your post and wanted to assist you.

I did a bit of research and found that HP Envy x360 Touchscreen Notebook has Capacitive screen, that means it responds to electro discharge when we touch the screen bare handed. So the Notebook screen will not respond/bare minimum respond to Pressure Sensitive HP Active Stylus as it works on the principle of Resistivewhere you have to apply a little pressure.

Here's a list of compatible active stylus: Click here

At first, thank you for replies.

I want to know HP Pavilion X360 Convertible not HP Envy x360 Touchscreen.

And also trying to know about HP Active Pen, you gave about HP Active Stylus.

And in your given link about pen compatibility list, there is no Model: HP Pavilion x360 13-u..../X360 Convertible 13-U130TU.

But there are two model have of pavilion (Pavilion x360 13-s0xx & HP Pavilion x360 13-s1xx) pen compatibility.

Other things, also wanted to know, There is any other brand touch pen apart from HP which compatible with HP Pavilion X360 Convertible 13-U130TU i5 7th Gen 13.3" Touch Laptop (http://www.hpexclusive.com.bd/hp-pavilion-x360-convertible-13-u130tu).

Hi @shchoyan,

Thanks for replying with that information,

I understand you want information about the HP Pavillion x360 and not the Envy,

I appreciate you pointing that out, however, that was a typo on my part

Nevertheless, the link provided has the details you need as you've mentioned in the latter part of your message.

Unfortunately, the Active stylus is not compatible with that model if not listed on that page.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks & Regards,

Are you seriously saying that a touch screen device with Windows inking capabilities on it can be sold and HP know that the user to use that functonality and don't tell the consumer.

To be honest (and  think you need to be) ... the Active pen situation is a total mess .. Microsoft Surface devices do not have this problem so why does HP?
