Touchpad on front below keys is difficult for deformed arthritic fingers.  Would find right & left clicker pads easier on fingers.  Advice where, who to seek assistance to replace touchpad.  Not necessary to replace entire keyboard.  Ideas suggestions appreciated.  Trish

Hi @Trishebear,

Thanks for becoming a member of the HP Support Forums. I understand you are having an issue with using the touchpad. I will be glad to help you.

There is no replacement with a different type of touchpad.  May I suggest purchasing a USB mouse or wireless mouse.  I use a trackball, as I find easier to control the pointer, but that is just me.

Please keep me informed of how things went.

If you require further assistance, let me know and I will gladly do all I can to help you.

Thanks for reply, been slow in attending to emails, forgive please.  Went to Office Depot and did as you suggested.  Got a Logitech Track ball.  I can't begin to tell you what a difference it makes, especially after hearing there was no way to replace touch pad, which doesn't seem business like to me.  Also had chat with HP person who couldn;t help me either, suggested support manager to call me next day which was Sat.  No call on Sat or Sun.  But when I was shopping an agent who I could not understand, the accent was so bad, called on Monday.  Amazing!  Explained I did not care to discuss my personal business in public, so now a 2nd call is to be tomorrow,  I guess we'll see.  Thanks so much for your reply and suggestion, Trish
