HP wireless headphones - H8000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have owned and used my headphones for some time on two different HP notebooks without problem. Suddenly the connection became first intermittent (needed to touch/move the connector continually to get the connection to work) and now has broken altogether (tested on both notebooks). I think the problem is with the USB wireless connector and not the headset. How can I mend or replace the USB connector so the heandphones work again?

Thanks!

Hello@philc07,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!  It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel.

I understand that you need assistance to get the wireless headphones working. Did I get it, right?

I appreciate the steps you have done so far in testing the receiver dongle and the headphones on multiple computers.

This, as you have predicted, is indeed a USB dongle issue and needs to be replaced.

I recommend you to use the link below and reach phone support for further assistance.
