Update the Realtek 4313 !

Has anyone tried Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 631956-001 in the pavilion G7-1070 US, if so did it work and does it have 802.1 a/b/g/n

Thanks for becoming a member of the HP Support Forums. I understand you are having an issue with which wireless cards work with your computer. I will be glad to help you.

Per page 24 of the Maintenance and Service Guide, the Broadcom 4313 will work and is  802.11b/g/n 1×1 WiFi Adapter part number 593836-001 or  802.11b/g/n 1×1 WiFi and 2070 Bluetooth 2.1part number600370-001.  

If you are looking to increase the network speed look at Realtek 8188BC8 802.11a/b/g/n 2×2 WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 part number 602993-001.

If you are looking to increase the network speed look at Realtek 8188BC8 802.11a/b/g/n 2×2 WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 part number 602993-001. This part is for a AMD cpu. If anyone has got this to work with Intel CPU please let me know !

This is what I did to get AC WIFI purchase a part from this site http://www.aliexpress.com/item/1pcs-Wholesale-Store-5G-Wireless-Dual-Band-AC600-433Mbps-802-11AC-USB... ZB10900. This will give you an upgrade.

My computer is a Pavilion G7-1070US windows 7 64bit with Intel CPU.
