hii,
im using hp 15-r078tu notebook and im using windows 8.1 OS
The problm is , i cant connect my own WIFI to my HP LAPTOP sometimes whereas i can connect to my mobile and desktop..
laptop can detect other WIFI networks but it is not detecting my own WIFI
Im using BSNL bradband connection with D-LINK routerand i have done troubleshoot through HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT but the problem is not rectified. so, please help me to solve this problem
i can connect sometimes but it is not connecting sometimes

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP 15-r078tu Notebook and not connecting to the router.
I have searched Microsoft for a fix for this and they indicate on the forums that if you change the router channel to a different channel, this might resolve the 5 GHz connection issue.
You could turn off ipv6 for the notebook. Some say this helps.

using D-LINK modem with Bsnl connection.wifi is able to connect all other devices like mobile but when coming to pc I could not connect.And my laptop is able to connect other wireless networks.it is not to connecting to my own network but when I am using lan wire it is connecting.I have tried everything troubleshoot the problem,updated wifi drivers ,changed the password but no use.please help me to solve this problem
