You stated the microphone worked in the Echo test, but then mention it didn't work with the headset on.  Was this a different microphone or did it work and then stop working again?

Do you mean the microphone works, but you don't hear it through the headphones and that there is no audio at all through the headphones?

Does Skype show the headphone as the output instead of speakers?

If you disconnect the headset and use the built in mic of the system, does the sound work then?

The built-in microphone is now responding well on Skype.

Now the problem is when is use my headphones, I cannot hear anything on Skype's Echo test. I am guessing that my voice is not recorded through the headphone and that is the reason I am unable to hear in Echo sound test.

Yes, there is the option of headphone as the output for speakers.

Yes, when I disconnect my headphones, the sound works perfectly.

Thanks.

Hello,

All the problems has been sorted out and my microphone started working just fine.

I changed the output for speakers as headphones and then I was able to hear my voice.

Now the sound is absolutely fine with and without headphones on Skype.

Thank you very much for your kind help. I really appreciate it .
