HP ENVY Inspire 7921e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I live in the US and I have an HP Envy Inspire Inkjet printer model 7921e (ordered and shipped to me by the US company I work for).  I am unsure how they were able to buy an EMEA regioned printer here in the US but...   So, this printer uses HP 303 cartridges and I need to be able to use 64XL.  I am aware that the region code can be changed on HP printers, however, I need the instructions and a region code for US. 

 

Reading other forum posts it seems the process is to post a message such as this and wait for HP Support to reply.

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you moved and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
