I bought an ink whose warranty date has expired.
Can I use that ink regardless of the fact that the warranty date for that cartridge has expired.

It is 953XL, all of three colour ink cartridges date of warranty ended.

It depends on the firmware version of the printer, the latest printer firmware might reject expired ink cartridges.

Thank you for the quick reply.. I have the latest firmware. So I could have problems with that ink. I read today that you can downgrade the firmware to a previous one and that way you can avoid this problem... but I don't know if it's risky and where to find the old firmware..

HP Recommended

If the latest firmware is blocking the use of an expired ink cartridge, a firmware downgrade can solve this issue if you have an older firmware version.
