Thank for that - it seems that I am a total dork - the **bleep** thing wasn't connected.

The USB had come out when I moved the computer to the back of my desk!

hello,

 

i have a the same error " printer is in an error state " the model is  HP cm4045 after udating the firmware then i cannot do any printing from any laptop in the office ... please advice ???

i had same problem as i have Norton i went on chat and they resolved it for me. it has to do with the firewall security, i highly recommend Norton

did not work, contacted Norton on chat they took over and resolved it to do with security firewall, would recommend Norton to all
