Document Feeder Jam Error message.

I have literally torn this thing apart and run through every 'solution' I can find. Turned off power and disconnected for 60 seconds, opened every crevice I could find to find any stuck paper or torn paper, turned it upside down to see if any paper was stuck, cleaned the paper pickup rollers, tried running different thicknesses of paper through the feeder, all resulting in NADA. No clue what might have been causing this and I can't get it reset. Tried running different thicknesses of paper through the feeder. I'm open to any and all suggestions.

If there is no apparent jam and the error occurs as soon as you turn it on then there is a good chance that a sensor in the path has failed. Not easy to track down as sensors are hard to get at and there is no built in  diagnostics for individual sensors.
