Hi @bstanek,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the error code "B8BB2C92" on an HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 usually indicates an issue with the printer's firmware or hardware. Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve the issue:

  • Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again.
  • Update Firmware: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. You can usually update the firmware through the printer's control panel or the HP website. Visit the HP Support website and search for your printer model to find instructions on how to update the firmware. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Check for Obstructions: Make sure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer. Open the printer's cover and check for any stuck paper or debris inside. Remove any obstructions you find.
  • Reset the Printer: Try resetting the printer to its factory defaults. This can often resolve software-related issues. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
