I keep getting a No Paper Pickup message from my HP Laser Jet 3055?  There is nothing in HP that addresses my problem  - can you help?  Thanks,

When you press print do you hear the same start up sounds when it starts to try to print as you always have? If yes, then most likely the issue will be a worn or dirty pickup roller. When you press print, watch into the paper area to see if you see the roller move on the paper. If the roller makes a rotation but does not pickup paper, that is a sure sign of a worn roller. I have also seen cases where a foreign object got into the works and stopped the tray from lifting properly when feeding.

Trying to help, your added details help clarify your problem. So to clarify, when you press print a message comes up saying no pickup. Is that message on the computer screen or the screen of the printer? If you unplug the printer and plug it back in does it make normal noises? I am asking these questions to try and narrow down a possible issue. Does the device still print reports or copy from the control panel of the printer? If yes, then there might be a corrupted driver at play here. If it does nothing in that case either I would tend to think that there is an electronic issue with the device and that you might try a factory reset. Check for a video on YouTube or download the manual from support.hp.com for instructions on doing that.
