Hi @Smk2410,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're encountering the "blue screen of death" (BSOD) on your Windows 11 system with error B8C63FB8 after changing your internet provider, and you suspect it may be related to your HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 printer.

The error code B8C63FB8 doesn't seem to be a standard Windows error code, and it's not directly related to the printer model you mentioned. However, issues with printers can sometimes cause system instability or errors.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

  • Disconnect the Printer: Start by disconnecting the HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 printer from your computer entirely. Unplug it from the power source and remove any USB cables or network connections.
  • Restart Your Computer: Restart your computer and see if the BSOD persists without the printer connected. If the issue goes away, it could indicate a problem with the printer or its drivers.
  • Check Printer Drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 printer. Visit the HP support website and download the latest drivers for Windows 11. Install them on your computer and then reconnect the printer to see if the issue persists.
  • Check for Windows Updates: Ensure that your Windows 11 system is up to date with the latest updates from Microsoft.
  • Check Event Viewer: If the BSOD persists, check the Event Viewer on your Windows system for any error messages or warnings that might provide more information about the cause of the crash. Look for entries related to the printer or any system errors around the time of the BSOD.
  • Consider Other Factors: While changing your internet provider shouldn't directly cause BSOD errors, it's possible that other changes or updates made around the same time could be contributing to the issue. Consider any other recent changes to your system or software that might be relevant.
