Hi, my printer is having issues printing. I tried cleaning the cartridges, using the software to do a self-clean, did a second level self-clean. Followed all the steps on the support pages. Literally did everything. Still not printing normally. Unfortunately, I can't attach images to show how it prints. Please help.

If the printer sits unused for any period of time the ink will dry in the printhead.

Try a new black cartridge.

Thanks for the reply. The one I have now has only been used maybe twice.

I would also like to add that when trying to print the reports from the printer I can barely make out that it says that the ink level is okay and that I have genuine HP ink cartridges.

Printer is printing as if it is out of ink. I am on Instant Ink plan so unable to change cartridge's. Tried removing cartridge and shaking it but no better results.

I feel my problem with printer not printing properly is because it was setting 4 yrs without being used. I went did everything instructions say to do but didnt resolve problem. I bought new cartridges but problem is still not resolved.  Is there any way to get it working properly again?
