Hi @Seestor2,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When dealing with printer errors like "Error - Printing," there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Check for Paper Jams: Even if there are no visible jams, sometimes a small piece of paper can cause the error. Open up the printer and carefully inspect for any obstructions.
Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on. This can often reset the printer and resolve temporary issues.
Check Ink or Toner Levels: Low ink or toner levels can sometimes cause printing errors. Check the ink or toner levels on your printer and replace any cartridges that are low.
Update Printer Drivers: Make sure your printer drivers are up to date. You can usually find the latest drivers on the HP website or through the printer's software.
Clear Print Queue: Sometimes a stuck print job can cause errors. Open the print queue on your computer, cancel any pending print jobs, and then try printing again.
Check Printer Connections: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If it's a wireless printer, check the Wi-Fi connection.
Reset the Printer: Most printers have a reset option in their settings menu. Try resetting the printer to its default settings and see if that resolves the issue.
Check for Firmware Updates: Some printers have firmware that can be updated. Check the HP website for any available updates for your printer model.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
