printer connected to wifi, linked to my laptop via ethernet cable but can not finish registering the printer via the app. Just says sorry something went wrong.

Error code EBS00P0004 on an HP LaserJet M110we printer typically indicates a communication issue between the printer and the network. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

 

  • Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Check Network Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to the Wi-Fi network. Check the Wi-Fi settings on the printer to make sure it's connected to the correct network and that the signal strength is adequate.
  • Restart Router and Laptop: Restarting your router and laptop can sometimes resolve connectivity issues. Turn off both devices, wait for a minute, and then turn them back on.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes fix bugs and improve connectivity.
