Thank you for that, here is the HP Photosmart Basic Drivers download. Once you have uninstalled please go ahead and run the basic install using the link. Keep me updated.

Thanks,

Have to run.  will be back in a while.  but... I can't seem to uninstall the HP all-in-one D110.  it deleted the 5 something you had me install at the beginning.   I've tried the windows and another uninstaller, but it still comes up.  ??

Thanks.

Hi VB01,

Can you please be a little more specific, are you getting any error messages? What is still coming up?  I will wait for this information, I understand you had to run, this will give us some more time to look into some other options and we will have to follow up tomorrow.

Have a wonderful night!

Thanks,

I'm sorry, my time seems to have run out.  I suppose the printer is uninstalled as I cannot print at all now.   We are in to day 6!  I might have a little while before my flight tomorrow (today!!) in between all the other things left to do.  Hopefully now you can just send me something to download and run that will fix the problem.

What I meant before is that the name still showed up even though I uninstalled using 2 different methods.  I think that all this might not have happened if the printer had actually come with a CD for installation.  Is it available anywhere.  I will be using other printers while travelling ....

Thanks for your help.

Hello VB01,

I have left you the link for the basic drivers download to install please click here. If you would prefer to order the physical media CD, you do also have the ability to do that, here is the order page: Software and driver media. If you decide to try the download please feel free to let me know how it worked out. I appreciate all the effort and hard work 🙂

Thanks again,

Help! I'm in the same boat. My scanner stopped after upgrading my OS.

I upgraded my MacBook to 10.6.3 and the scanner no longer worked. Troubleshooting said to uninstall HP completely, which I did, and download the latest software, which I did. However, my computer says it doesn't recognize the file (PS_AIO_07_D110_USW_Full_Mac_WW_11) and I can't open it.

I tried downloading the earlier version (for my old 10.5.8 OS) but it seems that the drivers for 10.4-10.6 are lumped together.

Any idea on how to proceed?

Hell rmac26. I understand your scanner stopped working on your computer as a result of upgrading the operating system. An uninstall and reinstall of the drivers will likely resolve the issue.

Here is some information on uninstalling drivers: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02259020

Here is some information on installing drivers on Mac 10.6: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04510394

Please respond as soon as possible so I know the results of your troubleshooting. I will continue to assist you if necessary.
