Hi, I've tried this solution and I'm unable to follow the steps on my MacBook.

Under Library (I'm guessing you mean in the hardrive?), there is no Applications file. There is a separate Applications folder (with many HP files, but nothing called Uninstaller) and under Library there IS a folder called Application Support--I tried that, and there is a folder called Uninstaller.

After clicking it, there is no Continue button that you mention.

When I hold the Control, Option, and Apple key (do you mean Command key?) and click on the Unistaller folder, the folder becomes highlighted, but nothing else--there is no popup that you mention. Obviously, I can't uninstall anything at that point.

Also, I've downloaded the file you recommend. When I try to open it, it says it couldn't open because it's not recognized.

So, I'm stuck on two fronts. Could you please walk me through this? I'd love to scan something.

I'm running OS 10.6.8. Thanks so much.
