Hey Theresa45,

 

If you are looking to connect the Deskjet 2540 onto your network you will need to know that network's password. If I am correct in assuming your are looking / asking for your networks password, maybe this can help: HP Printers - Finding Your Wireless Network Password, Key

 

If you are looking to connect to the Deskjet's own Wireless Direct network, the password can be learnt by pressing the Wireless Direct button for 3 seconds.

My iPad 2 used to print on the HP2540 without any issues. All of a sudden, printing didn't work anymore. Could this be related to installaties of iOS 8.3? And, if yes, how could this be resolved?
