My printer will not print. It only prints what it wants, when it wants.
When I try to print, the document shows up in the queue for a split second, then disapears. When I go to the HP utility application, sometimes it will say the status is "printing" but the printer isn't making a sound, then just goes idle. No error messages, nothing backed up in th queue; just nothing. It prints the test page just fine, it says I'm goon on ink and paper; I just don't get it.
So I check the scanner to make sure its working by scanning just a random picture on my desk. Works great, I don't save the image because I don't need to.
I restart my computer, unplug the printer and let it sit unplugged for twenty minutes. I go to try it again, just trying to test print a one line memo to see if its working. NOTHING. Sometimes the HP Utillity will mark the printers status as "printing" but the queue is empty. So the software thinks the printer is printing, when in actuallity its a lazy good-for-nothing who doesn't do anything.
But then, out of NOWHERE, it prints the random picture I had scanned and NOT saved and HOUR ago.
Please help. Otherwise I'm going to have to take this thing outback and go all Office Space on it.
