Laptop battery drains very fast and charges very slow, its not like I am using any heavy process applications, It also drains fast when in sleep mode. No error messages, Normal updates installed on my device.

Hi @Aishwarya0040

Have you run the battery test?

Use the HP PC Hardware Diagnostic UEFI utilty.

Plug in the power adapter and power on and immediate tap the F2 key.

That will invoke the Diagnostics utility. Click on components and the Battery test.

Run the test and kindly report the result in your next reply in your thread.

Is it the original battery or a replacement?

Why are you using sleep mode?

Is anything connected to the laptop by the USB port for charging?

That, when sleep and charge is enabled, will drain the battery pretty quickly

Are you using the original power adapter to charge the laptop?
