Hi @clairerobinson6

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that your printer will not print and is directing you to the Instant Ink website. I would like to help.

The printer is enrolled in the Instant Ink program. It receives this error for two reasons. Either the printer has not been able to connect to the HP servers for ink level checks or page count in a long time, or there is an outstanding bill. Normally when you log into your Instant Ink account there is a notification about the issue. If you can't see a notification, try reaching out to the Instant Ink department.

You can send them a tweet directly from your instant ink account, or use this link to find the appropriate phone number.

If you have any questions, or this does not resolve the issue, let me know.
If this resolves your issue, please click Accepted Solution. This will allow other people with the same issue to find the solution easily. If you wish to say thanks, feel free to click Kudos.

Thank you. I had recently got a new credit card so it was a payment issue. All sorted now!
