I keep getting a message on my printer in HP Support Assistant and I delete it but it comes right back no matter what I do.   I have uninstalled and Reinstalled HP Support Assistant but it does not seem to help.

My printer is a HP Envy 5530 All in one.

Hi @jeanniespc,

I would just ignore the false reading from the HP Support Assistant Software since uninstalling and reinstalling didn't resolve the issue.

Thanks!

Hi @jeanniespc,

I hope you will enjoy your experience on the HP Support Forums! I see by your post that you keep getting printer errors using HP Support Assistant.

Are you still able to use the printer?

You can take a look at this document to see if it will help: Troubleshooting HP Support Assistant (Windows 10, 8).

Yes I can use the printer still.   The yellow exclamation mark never goes away even after deleting and restarting the computer which the Troubleshooting recommends.

How is this a fix? Why isn't Hp fixing this issue? This is not the only post on this forum about this very problem & neither one has an actual fix for this. See here http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Software-and-Drivers/HP-Support-Assistant-messages-will-not-del...
