I had mine repaired while still under warranty, then when it happened again I complained and they fixed it although it was out of warranty by this time. At the moment (touch wood) the repair seems to be better than the first time, as the hinge is not complaining when I open the lid, hope it lasts! Keep writing on the forum, they seem to be being more responsive these days - probably better than doing a total recall 🙂

I am now on my second round of hinge issues. The first time, the right hinge broke & I paid for repair. Now, they have both let go, so duct tape is my friend. How do I find out how to fix it and how much it will cost?
