Have gone through all every step that was offered in the Solutions Support and nothing worked.  All my software and drivers are up-to-date.  I have a wireless setup.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Printer:

HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Printer

Interesting that adjusting Copy settings did not provide the answer, particularly since copy has a limited ability to use settings from other methods of printing.  Rats.

HP Officejet Printers - Copying Documents

If you have not yet done so...

Use the Embedded Web Server to adjust the Copy Settings Defaults

In particular, ensure the Media Type and Media Size are adjusted correctly.

Open your favorite web browser > enter the printer IP address in the URL / address bar >

Settings > Copy Settings > Default Settings >

Adjust the settings >

Apply

The printer software may need to be reinstalled.

Try / Consider:

  • Create a Restore Point
  • Download fresh copy of the Full Feature Software
  • Uninstall existing printer program(s)
  • Restart the computer and log in
  • Install the Full Feature Software
  • Restart the computer one last time to finish the installation

Even though I  did Use the Embedded Web Server to adjust the Copy Settings Defaults, it did not work for me.  Any other suggestions out there?

Thank you.

Thank you so much.  I'll give that a try and let you know what happens.

That did not work either.  I'm totally at a loss.  I guess I'll just keep scanning & printing the scan.  What a pain!

I had tried all of this prior to submitting to the panel for help.  I'm still in the same boat of having to scan & print from the scan to get a copy.  So terrible frustrating!!!!  I have always purchased HP Printers, but this has me wondering.
