My M451 color laser printer is currently set to force black-and-white printing when one of its color toner cartridges drops to a certain very low level. Could someone tell me how to set it instead to just keep printing in color? This will allow me to decide when the color print quality gets bad enough that I want to change the cartridge.
The other day someone here very helpfully showed me how to do this with my M475, and I'm hoping for a successful repeat of that advice for the M451.
Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Are you looking for the control panel sub menu: System Setup => Supply Settings => Black Cartridge => Very Low Setting
Click the 'Kudos Thumbs Up' if this was helpful. Thank You!

Thank you for that, although I wonder what the "very low setting" means.
Mine's at the factory setting, and I get more than a ream of good prints ( >500 pages) before I start to see gray.
That is good news for some, but perhaps too aggressive for others. For the small home/business environment, that means it has enough toner left to wait until the first notice to place an order. But, for me, it is WA-A-AY too aggressive, and if I swapped in another 410X out of fear, I'm wasting a good fraction of my $100. This is clearly the most expensive printer I've ever owned for supplies, and I feel like the default settings are designed to encourage me to waste good toner by tossing it away.
